Design 22 El Nido

This 51 power yacht was built by Lemos Brothers of Rhode Island in 1936. The following article tells the story. Double click for readable view.

I can see from the files that concurrent to the construction of this boat, a larger (58 LOA) version also named El Nido was being designed/built. Here it is, design #76.


Unfortunately for the bigger version there is an ominous note in the file that states "burned during construction".
